Ben Meers is a political operative with a background in public health. He has worked on a variety of campaigns around the United States with experience working on municipal, state and federal races. Ben grew up in a politically-charged family and began work in Democratic politics in Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas in Government/Political Science, and he also obtained Master’s of Public Health degrees from the University of Sheffield (UK) and the University of Copenhagen (DK). Professional campaign work has sent him anywhere from Arizona to Vermont and all down the East Coast. Recently, Ben served as the Executive Director of the Kansas Democratic Party for over three years, where he helped re-elect Governor Laura Kelly and Congresswoman Sharice Davids, administer a statewide vote-by-mail presidential primary and defeat the August 2022 anti-choice amendment.
