Patrick graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology. During his time there, he worked for the student activist group CALPIRG, advocating for green environmental policy, running on-campus voter registration campaigns, and securing funding for the Fresh Basic Needs Hub, a source of fresh groceries for food-insecure UCI students.
